Docutek atSchool Features
Gradebook. Docutek atSchool includes an optional, electronic gradebook.
The gradebook is both powerful and easy-to-use, and because it is completely
integrated with all other features of Docutek atSchool, information like
class rosters and parent-student associations are automatically available.
Teachers can enter grades, and students and parents can view grades, through
our secure Web interface.
Class Web Sites. In Docutek atSchool, teachers use a single screen,
point-and-click interface to create a Web site for each class. On it,
they provide handouts and assignments, and links to useful Web sites.
There's also a class calendar, and links to the school's grade book, attendance,
and other online systems.
Online Discussions. Every class Web site in Docutek atSchool provides
on online area for class discussions. Students, parents, and teachers
can post messages in either the "general discussion" topic or in any special
topic the teacher creates.
Group Projects. Teachers can create collaboration areas for students
working on group projects. Each group can have its own area for discussion
and sharing of ideas, and because Docutek atSchool recognizes each user,
only those students in a particular group are able to access their group's
area.
Online Conferencing. Every class Web site has a conference "room"
in which both students and parents can hold one-on-one conferences with
the teacher.
School News, Calendar of Events. With Docutek atSchool it's easy
to keep the entire school community in touch with important news and dates.
No technical or computer knowledge is required to managing the School
News and the Calendar of Events - like everything else in the system,
it's all just point-and-click.
