We chose Docutek because of the above reasons. With a company and staff that has listened to our needs and has been open to our suggestions, this program has been a great success at our school. The time to maintain the system is nonexistent, and so as a tech trainer I am able to spend more time with my teachers discussing various ways to implement all the features of Docutek and their educational merit instead of having to worry to if the system is working.

There are many other systems on the market attempting to do the above plus scheduling, grading, and attendance. The problem is that these systems have sacrificed quality in the attempt to give a smattering of everything instead of focusing on a single component of the educational system. Docutek has wisely focused their attention on a key component of the educational process-allowing students and parents to access information. It has additionally added features that heighten this communication such as discussion threads and monitored discussion groups. All these allow for further learning. And that is what any technology that deals with education should always be asking. Does this technology help students learn? And the answer with Docutek is "Yes.""
